ENGINES AND COMBUSTION LAB
The Engines and Combustion Lab (ECL) is a state of the art facility in UA's South Engineering Research Center. Of the six test cells, one large test cell houses a two-roller chassis dynamometer that can measure power output of rear, front, and four-wheel-drive vehicles up to 350 hp per axle. Another large test cell contains an AC engine dynamometer rated at 650 hp and 1360 ft-lbf torque.
